What are good struts for a lowered 99 civic dx
I have adjustable coilovers on my civic. What are good struts that I can get. I have no idea what they have on the car now because I bought it like this.
Koni Reds are very good if you don't want to spend the extra on yellows, and don't need on-the-car adjustability. The stiffness is comparable to yellows, but doesn't go quite as stiff as yellows can. Yellows are the shiz, but expensive.
I have one more question. Im not very familiar with suspension. When I brought my car to the mechanic he said I have adjustable coilovers. What exactly are they and if I get the Koni red what would I need to do to keep the car lowered.

Jack up the car, remove the wheel(s) and post pics of what you have. We can probably tell you more than what your mechanic told you.
I'm pretty sure you cannot use regular coilover sleeves with Koni Sport (yellow) shocks. You should be able to use them with Koni Specials (reds) or Koni STR.T (orange) shocks. Not sure how well the STR.T's would hold up to adjustable coilovers, though.
Just please make sure the pics are clear, well-lit, and in focus.
