Hi.
What do you think about gapless top rings? Are there any tangible differences compared to conventional rings?

Why do you say that? I am still up in the air about them. I spoke with total seal at pri, they had nothing but great things to say, but i wouldn't except other wise from a company. He kept name dropping... Brad Personett, and a few others. Its just hard for me to change something that's not broke.

That's it right there...
Every gapless set I've tuned never worked out and swapping back to conventional has always worked best... you'll get 50/50 reviews as some people say they like them and others hate them.. I like to use big gaps so maybe mentally it's hard to accept them..

 

ive used both, made 1008hp on gapless rings this last motor, but did big numbers with a big gaped ring also. both have worked well for me....
