KYB shocks?
CRX with H&R race springs. I have been riding with stock shocks for almost a year, I have replaced the shocks(with stock) once or twice, but it seems that I bust them in less than a month(of cource). but its time to finnally put something nice under there.
KYB AGX for $360
KYB GR2 for $220
are the AGX's worth the money? its a street car.
should I go with something else? tokico's? Send me on the right path!!!!

what shock you should go with depends on what you want. If you want the ability to adjust the firmness of your ride, the AGX's are great, and cheap too. I'm pretty sure the GR2s are more of a OEM replacement...not necessarily for applications where you're running a stiffer spring than stock. Me, I have the Tokico HP shocks, and they're great for the street, but a tad too soft for autoX, that's why I have koni single-adjusables with GC's and eibach 450f/500r springs.

I'm loving my AGX's, but I've got the H&R Sports.
I don't think they could handle the Race rates and still be comfy.
You might want to go for the Koni Yellows if your budget can handle it. If not, the AGX's will still be good, but probably a bit less cushy.
Oh, and if I remember correctly, the GR2's are essentially setting 2 on the AGX's. 15% stiffer valving than stock.

This is the email I got from someone here on HT, that got it from KYB techs:
Please refer to the AGX adjustment chart below:
The AGX products have the following approximate damping force
values. When adjusted, both rebound and compression damping forces change.
Setting#:
1 - Same as Factory
2 - Same as our GR2 products (10~15% firmer than Factory)
3 - 50% firmer than #2
4 - 30% firmer than #3
With an 8 position adjustable, #1 is approx 5% softer than Factory.
Setting #'s 3,5,& 7 split the differences between #'s 2,4,6,& 8.
