I got this p28 ecu in a trade and was wondering if it was chipped, the guy I got it from said its chipped to a gsr basemap

 

umm that looks like an obd2 ecu, and you cannot chip obd2 ecu's... well you can but nobody is going to do it because it is a waste of time...

take a better pic of it but i bet you its an obd2a ecu looks like you got ripped

 

First its of all a p28 does not look like that; and no the ecu is not chipped what so ever.

 

Agreed with mouab18c1, never see P28 Ecu like this, it obd2 ecu for sure

The guy you "traded" with mis-informed you.
Obd2 p28 ecus are not "chipable".

You must use an obd1 ecu with an obd2 to obd1 ecu jumper.
