Default anyone sick of loosening/stretching/breaking turbo bolts?

There is a company whom a freind owns here in PHX that machines titanium bolts expressly made for attaching turbos to manifolds. These bolts will not stretch, seize, loosen etc. They last forever and will always seal, but they are 15$ each for the bolts and 13$ each for the nuts. I told him i would ask ppl on here if they wer eintersted but his main market is porsches. He works on crazy gt2s and sick 911s, he does some amazing machine work to the turbos and makes some of the most intricate intake manifodls ive ever seen.

just curious if anyone else wanted a set, im sick of tighteting the bolts on all the cars i work on, ill use these for life.

Sounds cool, is this mainly a problem with where the manifold mates to the turbo or also with the manifold and head?

really only the manifold to turbo, there is no reason the head bolts should have too much of a problem.

for me, im not a serious racer, but to have bolts that will last longer than the turbo which will never ever come lose, the price is pennies.

not sure, i will go and find out, but some cars just cant keep a bolt tight. Others on the other hand last forever with just grade 8 who knows. I will definatley ask on group pricing. Im gonna buy a set for myself now but i will see if he will drop it for quantity.

isn't grade 8 the nickle plated steel ones from home depot? if it is i wouldn't recommend it. i didnt know the size so i just took the turbo and manifold inside the store and tried fitting them on in the store. i went several different places trying to find some ss ones but had no luck. so i just decided to get the grade ? ones a bunch of people walking by me said that they will break right off after a few miles so i just ended going to rre and from what they tell me, these are one of the strongest one i can get and didn't cost an arm and a leg. But, titanium sounds crazy. can't get any better than that
