Default CD5 BUILD

Alright going for something different here guys. I got a 1995 Honda Accord EX sedan. Im pretty much rebuilding the entire thing, but this will be a slow thread as im a broke college student who only waits tables.

Heres a little history, I bought the car as a senior in high school completely stock for 3500. Made a lot of mistake using eBay parts, ect. Since then have very well learned my lesson.

Plans for right now are:
Minor engine rebuild
A/C, P/S, ABS delete
5-speed Swap(H23 tranny?)
Repaint (Nissan G37 liquid metal grey pearl) w/ black roof.
Custom paint in the engine compartment. Will see in good time.
CF Hood.
EK side marker
Custom Headlight(You’ll see!)
Complete Wire Tuck/Fusebox relocation/Battery relocation
Brown Carpet Swap
Wood dash kit
Leaving the front and rear leather seats
96-97 front/rear end conversion
New Skunk2 Exhaust
New header (TBD)
FnF type 1’s
Going HELLAflush
Wheels (TBD)(thinking maybe some gold OG Oldskools)

I’m sure theres other little things I forgot, I’m doing all of this myself and will be my first build all on my own.

This started off minor but then I decided to take it the extra mile, picked this up as a daily driver since my uncle didn’t want me borrowing his spare truck for more than a year.lol

1994 Acura Integra GSR shell/LS swap. Car weighs around 2200 lbs. So pretty fast for having an LS.

But after two days of owning it I threw a crank bearing. So I bought a new ls. Decided to go ahead and repaint the engine bay black, get a new OEM hood and paint the hood and roof black also. So my attention is on getting this back to good running condition first. But will only take a couple weeks.

Anyways onto the picture I have so far of the accord build.
Heres the only picture I have of the accord before pulling her into the shop.

This was before I wrecker her for the first time. And the next you can see all the new front end parts, but the hood started rusting on my cause I never got around to painting it.

At this point I only had Skunk2 lowering spring and sport shocks.

And heres the only picture of the engine bay before taking it into the shop.

And on to more recent pictures.

I pulled all the interior out before towing it to the shop so I can rewrap the door panel inserts and work on some others little things to make the interior as nice as I possible can, im trying to go for a more luxury look.lol and yes I know it’s a Honda, but I love the tan and brown with wood look!

I didn’t take a lot of picture of the tear down or anything, I started stripping the car and working on the doors and stuff, started some minor sanding and I have A LOT of organizing to do but I’ll get around to it im in no way trying to rush this.

Lol one of the guys at the shop thought it would be funny to set this wing on my car while I wasn’t there. (he’s not a big fan of Honda’s, thought this suited it well)

Sanding a BIATCH!

And heres how the interior is sitting right now.

And here’s some goodies I’ve collected so far with many more to come.

Yeah I got a wink mirror! Haters welcome.

Bought these wheels for a good price, but am going with something different obviously. lol so these are for sale.

And a little history of me and my cars. I use to love mustangs, and I very much do still, but after so many wrecks and speeding tickets and an exhibition of speed ticket, a 20 year olds insurance is way to crazy high for me drive mustangs anymore, so that’s when I got into the Honda game, and I love it, idk if I’ll ever get another mustang again now. But my first one was a ‘86 lx that I bought from my best friends grandpa. Blew the head gasket about two months after I got it, sold it to the guy whose shop I work on my cars at and they did what I always wanted.

But after that I bought an ‘03 and this picture will tell the rest of the story.lol I owned this car for a month. LITERALLY! I was 17.

A Volvo thought it would be cool to pull out of a dillons and drive straight across the street to a neighborhood in slowmotion it seemed, and POW! Was deemed my fault because a “witness” said I was speeding my *** off. (never proven in court and got the ticket lifted!) but still got screwed and insurance wouldn’t pay up. So $2500 bucks and a year later and we fixed it ourselves. Only to now have my 16 year old step brother to be driving it, what a deal right. Yeah, I got screwed over. Titles in my name, but idk how this happen but idc b/c I don’t want a mustang anymore. It’s a long complicated story. But ends in my dad being whipped my his new wife.

So I started on my headlights.

But that’s all you get for now. I’ll post the finished product in time.

That’s all I got for now, any comments/concerns/advice/and criticism welcomed!

Just a minor update, I’ll be in the shop all night tonight working, but I’ll probably focus mostly on the integra tonight. But I’ll have to work on the accord while paint dries so I’ll get some work done. Anyways here’s just a couple picture for now.

LOL Had this custom made, one of my best friends was paralyzed back in high school so I gotta represent!

Will have more updates tomorrow hopefully, mostly just gonna be organizing and cleaning but just getting ready to get progress rollin’.

Since im having to focus on my integra for the time being I figured I mine as well post it.

I started prepping the bay for paint. I ended up having to send my motor to my machinist because where the crank key meets the crank is cranked so its getting redone without removing the crank, so hopefully that works, I don’t feel like rebuilding an LS. Anyways heres the pics of the work I’ve gotten done on it so far.

I will be painting the motor/tranny/ sub frame and completely cleaning everything up while im swapping.

And this is where the car sat when I left the shop last night. Hopefully will be getting sprayed next week.
