71 N600 w/ engine swap and RWD conversion
Welcome to my lazy, on again/off again, 10+ year build. My buddies and I always wanted one since we first saw it in the play station game, Gran Turismo. We found one that had been sitting outside for years in the backyard of a property in North Carolina.
The plan is to have this thing road ready for my wedding this October. As long as it's drivable, my fiancé and I will be laying down some rubber as we blast off into the sunset!

The first order of business was complete tear down, rust removal, and creating a one piece fiberglass front end

After removing the cancerous rust, we realized we had almost nothing to work with. We found another one in New York and "trailered" it back
Attachment 354639
So starting back at step one, tear down & rust removal

We knew we wanted to convert it to RWD, so we took some measurements and found the rear end of an MG midget was the right size.
Attachment 354642
Once the we were sure the rust was gone, we primed the entire thing to preserve what we had
Attachment 354643
We knew we wanted to put a sport bike engine in and I found a great deal on this 07 zzr600.
Attachment 354645
We created a front subframe to hold the new engine. The struts are made for an older civic, but they worked pretty well for us. We used hubs from an integra, and shortened the mount for the tie rod connection since the rack on the n600 had limited stroke
Attachment 354644
Positioning motor and welding mounts
Attachment 354646
Attachment 354648
Beginning the long wiring process
And that's more or less where I am now.
I actually have a little more in depth build thread/blog on my website which is www.hondan600.net , but I plan on updating this thread regularly with all the major stuff.
Wish me luck on getting this thing done by October! Haha
