Hello all, i'm a little lost. 90 DX 3 door 1.5 dpfi. got a CEL and car won't start. one ECU code, 15 (possible faulty igniter) I have spark and fuel pressure, but if i'm lucky enough to have it crank over, it'll only run for a few seconds, and really rough. I'm currently trying to find the igniter to test it (it's in the actual dizzy under the "leak cap" i guess?) but wanted to get some opinions. If it was a faulty igniter, would i be getting anything? I would assume it wouldn't run at all. thanks

 

code 15 usually means your dizzy is caca...regardless the ignitor is located inside the dizzy...you might want to test out the coil also...!!!
