Each engine setup could be a little different. In order to see exactly where your engine performs at it's best. You would have to put your car on a dyno or tune it at a track where you will see the quantitative performance/economy changes as you change the fuel & timing maps. Timing has a lot to do with performance and economy as well.
Just tuning your car to read 12.5 or 15.3 AFR doesn't necessarily mean you are getting the most out of your setup.

Thank G.Accord for explanation, so it mean wideband just a reference to us tune our engine, depend engine need.. 12.3 setup not the maximum power if our engine not fit with the setup rite? Please correct me if what i doing is wrong step to tune p30 h22a engine.
1. Load P30 H22a bin to ecu. + remove checksum + crome rtp plugin
(Vtec set at 6000rpm to tune low load)
2. Test run and datalogging with freelog 1.0.93
3. After get the logged a/f. i divide with target a/f. eg: ((Logged a/f) / (Target a/f)*Current basemap) (17/14.70)*20 = new map value at logged point =23.
4. I edit all logged a/f with freelog to get new map value.
5.Doing the same but vtec set to 4800rpm to tune high load.
i feel little change, after vtec kick it pull hard more then before i tune.. is there any step i miss in tuning h22a engine?
