pretty sure i blew my lsd up this morning...

question 1 : can i just remove the diff and get an non lsd?

q 2 : what is involved in the removal/ install?

q 3 : any special tools required?

Q1 - yes
Q2 - disassembly and reassembly of the transmission
Q3 - not really - easier with snap ring pliers in order to get back half of case off, but not absolutely necessary

are you familiar with disassembly and reassembly of the transmission? if not, better not attempt it without a good transmission manual that explains how it comes apart and goes back together

my friend that works at honda has one out of a 91 integra XSi....

completly rebuilt w/ carbon coated gears...

$500 trans
- $100 if he can rebiuld mine
$150 if i need the clutch he's got
$15.01 for 3 quarts of HONDA MTF
$15~ ish for beer.

will be done tomorrow night at his house!
