Default bosch 044's good for street 670whp setup?

I currently have an A1000 taking a **** on me...probably due to me not running the pump voltage controller for that pump.

This is primarily for a Daily Driven Ek hatch.

Is a bosch 044 going to act the same way, as far as longevity goes, as the A1000 without some type of voltage controller for low throttle/idle daily driving?

I'm thinking of running dual 044's parallel.

Anybody with some experience with this have any suggestions.

Why not run 2, 255 walbros instead? They are cheaper and will make that power...

Just another thought...

two walbros would do it. Or do a walbro 255 intank feeding a bosch 044 inline. Thats what im running and should be good to 750-800 from what ive researched

yeah i think that the 255 intank and 044 inline would be your best bet.

one 044 will do fine no need for the walbro to feed it, just use it to directly replace you a1000, the 044 fall off right over 800whp at that point add another and you will have no problems

yeah as i was posting what I said I realized cause you said you already have the a1000 in there. I'd say just go ahead and do the 1 044 and you should be fine as long as you aren't running e85. If you plan on making more power down the road, you might as well add the other pump now that way you wont have to make any changes later. T1,MB both make nice brackets to mount the two pumps. good luck to you, thats a lot of hp to daily! I'm sure people look at you funny when they hear the buzzing from the pump when you are on the street.

I'd do two 044's in parallel. A single 044 is only good for 650-700whp.

I love 044's, don't get me wrong, but I'm always in favor of running one pump vs. two pumps if you can. If you're running gas, I'd recommend considering the Weldon 1100-A. It's ~$300, quiet, low amp draw, and flows a lot:

1100-A
20 psi - 935 lb/hr - 6.3 amps
50 psi - 738 lb/hr - 10.3 amps
70 psi - 630 lb/hr - 13.1 amps
90 psi - 510 lb/hr - 15.9 amps
120 psi - 320 lb/hr - 20.2 amps

044 (for comparison)
20 psi - 445 lb/hr - 8.7 amps
50 psi - 420 lb/hr - 10.3 amps
70 psi - 390 lb/hr - 11.9 amps
100 psi - 350 lb/hr - 14.6 amps
120 psi - 315 lb/hr - 15.8 amps

our part #10211 is the Bosch 044
The Weldon 1100-A is fairly new; we don't have it in the catalog yet and I don't think very many people are aware of it in general. Hence the reason I mentioned it.

I ran dual 044's until they weren't enough. Now I run a Weldon 2345 pump.

Around 1000whp is where I start to see pressure falling with those. On my car and another car on my dyno, around the same power level.

Im sure the dual 255 intank will do the job. But damn i killed mtself trying to install that thing..And the first 2 times i installed it i crimped the line when pressing down the tophat to bolt it down. 3rd tiem was a charm . But damn.

255 HP in tank, 044 inline -6 feed all the way from the walbro to the rail OEM return.

Dedicated relays and power directly from battery, grounded to block.

60 PSI base
35 PSI boost
FIC/Bosch 1100s (about 89% DC IIRC)
C16

No sump

89mm H22

750 WHP 575 TQ revving to 8500

---------------------------------------------
Previous setup I was running the same fuel setup but with Precision 1000s at 55 PSI base and made 660 about maxxed out. Pressure wasnt dumping yet, but the 1000s were DONE
