Idk dude I would be careful with that.

I think 10lbs is a little much for a G swap in the first place and you wanna crank it higher.. thats asking for trouble with stock internals in my honest opinion..

Anyways.. I think people just have their cranks micro-polished but thats if theyre doing an all out build..

I guess what you could do is get ARP main studs with some new rod bearings..... and pray. lol

sorry I saw you said H22 head and I thought you put the H22 head on the F22 block.. which is why I said be careful with the G swap.

The F22 should be perfect with 10lb. Dont be greedy.

If you want 15lb you should probably do internals.

Psi doesn't blow up internals, power does. What numbers are you making currently?

You can find people running in the 300whp range on stock internals all day. However, that doesn't mean it's the same story for everyone. A compression test is a must (as for all F.I. builds really) and it helps your chances if you can do a rebuild (ARP studs are always a plus).

If you want to increase your life expectancy, and you have the budget, forged rods and pistons (rod bolts as well) are a nice addition.

Stock crank is perfectly fine as you said. It's strong already, and can be found in professional builds, so I don't know what a "racing" crank would do for a build that will probably only see sub 400whp numbers.

And as Balwin said, you can micro-polish the crank if you want, but it's not an absolute necessity.

sorry, actually meant racing main and rod bearings , my go would be on the stock crank, just if your worried about spinning a bearing or somthing then performance bearings would be a investment .. my 2 cents

might hold off on turbo upgrade due to money issues.gonna keep small turbo and do bottom end build.thanx man.

Gotcha.

There is still a debate whether it's worth getting ACL bearings or just going with factory. Some people have had really good results with new OEM bearings, but some haven't. Same story with ACL's. I don't think it'll ever be resolved.

Well Bisimoto WAS selling piston/rod packages though they don't show up on the site. They probably still are, you just need to call them up. There are a couple other companies (Arias, Weisco, CP). Check out the H-tech marketplace if you can and search around.
