Where can I find a shop in North Seattle to do a rear disc brake conversion?!?!?
Okay, to be specific I live in Lynnwood and I want to find a shop that's fair with pricing and does good work also meaning not shady and/or half *** work.
Only shop I know of up here is 8-Velocity Motorsports which is pretty close to me but I heard some bad things about them.
The only other shop I know of is Stage Auto Center in Kirkland which is still a little far. I trust them and went to them before but it seems like they're overcharging me this time. I already have everything to do the conversion including booster valve and proportioning valve. I also asked them how much more it would be to put new pads in front and swap out my brake lines completely for braided stainless steel ones which I have also. So it's only labor I'm paying for. They said it would take 6 hours and would be $600 total. Would it really take that long? And does that seem like a fair price?
It would be nice if I could find a place that would do it for cheaper and that's closer too. Feedback please!

Not 100% sure, but VTR in everett on everett mall way by the clutchmasters should be able to do it. They do good work and the owner is a good guy
Thanks for the input guys. I used to work on my car a lot and did a lot of things to it but it just takes way longer when I do it myself. Plus there's just too many headaches when you diy especially when you can't take something off, figure out how to do something, or have to leave and go get a certain tool that's needed.
Think I'll just head to the Kirkland one unless I get anymore suggestions.

If you ever want to tackle it yourself let me know. I have a compressor and power tools that I can bring and help out. I have done a 5lug swap on a teg and didnt have to swap e-brake cables, but the rest is all the same when going drum to disk.

Really appreciate all the help especially you Redemption for offering assistance. I would do it myself but I have a feeling it would be a pain in the ***. Plus I'm pretty busy anyways. Guess I'll just go to the one in Kirkland then or I might give the one in Everett a call and see.
im about to do mine this weekend. if you pm me i can help you and we can do it together, no homo. my buddy is gonna help and hes done it before
im with the majority, do it yourself, even if you dont have time...it will take less time than waiting for a shop to do it. trust me i did it myself and only took maybe max 2-1/2 hours. shop time...could be a couple days depending if there busy on other customers cars. just a thought...
