Default LSD off center?

I just put an OBX lsd in my b16 trans and noticed a strange problem. As the top half of the case was off, I spun the lsd to make sure the gears were working and noticed that it looks as if the lsd is a little off center when spinning. (Maybe about 1/16 of an inch). The bearings were pressed in all the way and everything else went smooth. Its hard to explain but is similar to if the wheel on your car was not perfectly centered on the hub.Is this something to be concerned about? Thanks

OBX's are notorious for being out of round...that could be the issue

I have not heard of this issue with the obx. But I have heard the other million complaints. I just got a good deal on it and figured I would give it a try. Any links to other ppl with the same issue?

Too much run out. Actually, way too much run out if you can see that much visually. It's an OBX thing. Get another diff - MFactory or Quaife.

I might just get a whole new trans. The b16 tranny is way too short for highway driving.
