Hey what the highest HP and TQ you seen on a Turbo SI with stock internals? Im wanting to know where i sit on average with other people.

2008 Honda Civic SI - 509HP 355TQ - 100% stock K20 from pan to valve cover, Pt6262 turbo, Tial 44mm wg, Tial 50mm bov, 3" dp with a cat, 70mm skunk2 exhaust, Id1000 injectors, Hondata 4bar, Hondata flashpro, Intank 255 and a Fuel return.

i got 510hp and 356tq

 

fathom18 on 8th civic made 570whp on a completely stock 90k mile motor. he was on 100 octane though, but still makes the power. think he is the highest hp stock motor 8th

 

thats was my biggest question cuz, i was only looking to make 400hp max on a stock k20z3 ...but when i spoke to certain people from certain shops they tell me to sleeve the block ....so my question is wats the safest amount of power i could put down on a stock k20 ...is 400 ok or is that too much ???

 

400 is fine, on a good tune, ur trans will blow waaay before ur engine will.

I'm on 14psi, and running around 440whp stock block
and i've been doing so for 20k miles, and 25k miles before that i was on 10-11psi ~350whp

 

hmmm, i dont like this highest hp statements. HP depends also on the dyno. A Dyno Dynamics dyno is a very low reading dyno, but very consistent and good for tuning since its a loaded dyno. mustang is also lower reading. Most people like to compare vs a dynojet in SAE correction......

Mustang is 10-12% lower then SAE dynojet
Dynodynamics is 15-18% lower than SAE dynojet
dynopak is 5-10% higher than SAE dynojet.


well... u get the point. Set some standards for what is "highest HP"..... including dyno comparisons and SAE vs STD.
