Default Are all d16 heads and blocks interchangable?

Will a z6 head fit on a y8 or a6 block?
What internal would i want to use?
the reason i ask is that i bout a full d16z6 motor and found out that the block is shot. i have a 88 d16a6 in my 91 std hatch and i was planning on building a new motor for it and build it to turbo.
what do all of you guys recommend?

Yes, you can. But the combo you use could seriously affect your compression ratio, good or bad.

No. The single cams are interchangeable, A6, Z6, B7, etc. The D16A1, the weird Integra DOHC motor, the head won't swap over...directly. I believe I heard of someone doing it though. I think they machined something or whatever.
