Del Sol has fluid in brake booster - Bad MC or just gasket?
Sorry, I know all my clueless threads may be getting annoying, But I have one more.
I originally had a bog after doing an oil change and replacing spark plugs. Found a new vac leak under the Master cylinder, tried removing one bolt and it snapped the stud off the Brake booster.
So now it brings me to today, I found a booster at the local pull a part and began to take off the one from my del sol. After fighting with the damn pin, I got it out and saw that the booster had fluid inside of it.
I have the "new" one in place now, but Im worried about this happening again. I did notice that the gasket from the M.C to the booster has a small rip on one of the inner ridges and I have another one, but could this issue be caused from a busted master cylinder, or is it just the gasket?
Thanks again guys for all the help so far.
