alright so i just swapped in a b16a2 in my buddys 97 civic ex everything was running good vtec was engaging then one day it stopped working i replaced the solenoid same problem i even ran a wire from highbeam to the solenoid it clicks but doesnt engage when im driving it can anyone tell me whats wrong?

 

ECU?
Any check engine lights?
Oil level checked?
What RPM's does it rev to now?
