Hey im stumped again, here is a video which will help explain. Im trying to check the voltage output for the signal wire on the MAP senspr. To see if sensor is good. I have the positive wire from my "nice" multi meter pushed through the signal wire with a safty pin and when I connect the negative wire from multi meter to negative battery terminal ,the idle drops and I think motor goes into limp mode and check engine light comes on with code 3 (MAP sensor). I disconnect battery ,codes disapears ultill I test again with muli meter. The manual and all info I have found online shows this to be the proper way to test Map sensor? why would this happen?
