This guy gave me a couple distributors and two engine harnesses and what he says is a D16Y8 intake. How do I know what they belong to? The dizzy has one less wire then my brothers 2000 civic lx with throttle body and his doesnt have a second plug on the dizzy but this one does. harness also has four injectors on it. How do I know what this setup is from?

 

looks like a D16Y8 intake manifold to me

the harness and distributor appear to be OBD1 - what is the distributor code number? - it is on the side of one of the attaching arms, like this:

 

that is a y7 intake ....a 93 acura integra harness and i cant tell the dizzy bc the way the pic is

 

how do you know its a 93 acura harness? And it can tbe a Y7 can it? Y7's were throttle body

 

no numbers to be found but he gave me three distributors I know one is obd0 and then theres the one with no numbers then theres this one>

 

I'll also agree integra harness due to the 02 sensor position. It's an auto Y8 manifold.

U mean from an automatic car and wats an icav can u post a pic of an icav xause theres more pieces to that intake around and what do i do about the dizzy with no numbers

 

anyone have a link to a good obd0 to obd1 multipoint swap using this Teg harness? It'd be nice to see a color coded chrat and some pics on how to convert it, btw the dizzy I took a pic of has the code TD-O2U so its a 88-91 Si? looks like someone wired grey plugs onto it too but they fell off

 

can I use any obd1 dizzy or does it have to be from an integra

 

yeah sorry I was just guessing auto because I didn't see the IACV on the back of the manifold. It'll either look like this on the back:


AUTO Manifold (the IACV is blocked off and the IACV is on the bottom of the throttle body, you won't be able to use this manifold unless you drill and tap for an IACV and attach it)
