Default 88 CRX Engine Hissing

I've decided to revamp my question a little bit so that I may get some answers. I currently have a D15B2 engine in my car that has a DPFI setup on it. I'm trying to figure out 2 things to try and get my car running again.

1. I have good compression in 2 cylinders (#1 and #4) and bad compression on the 2nd and 3rd. When i did a leak down test on it, Air keeps coming out of the exhaust.

2. If i changed all the gaskets would that possibly fix my compression problems? also if i have the car running and take the oil cap off it shoots air through the oil cap hole on the valve cover as well.

Please this is my only car and I need to get this figured out.

yeah either your HG or your rings on those two cylinders are shot. How many miles on the HG and how many miles on the rings?

Sounds like a headgasket to me. Any oil in the coolant? overflow reservoir are also known to fill up when a HG blows.

As far as how many miles for each I can only go by how many miles the car has due to I just recently bought the car. As for the overflow reservoir I'll have to check, I'm pretty sure it's clean but you never know until you check right.

I'm going to change the intake, exhaust, and head gaskets hopefully today if I can and will see what happens. If you have a broken ring would you hear a noise while the car is running or no?

I got some new head bolts yesterday to replace my old ones... Started to try and change the gaskets but once I got the valve cover, and distributor cap off and the engine to TDC... I was second guessing if it was indeed TDC or if i had it on the correct stroke or not. The only manual I have is a Hynes.

Got the head off the CRX and found that the head gasket was still good but the intake gasket was broken in several places, so it was letting air enter the cylinders and put a hole in 3 of the valves... need to either get a rebuilt head or see how much it would cost for someone to fix it.
