Do a $50 dollar paint job yo! Theres actually a lot of good results. Paint is all in prep. Spend like 100 bucks on supplies and do it up. You dont have to limit yourself to 50.

Read up here and do your research. Search for $50 paint job and check out what some guys this. I would def do this too if I had a cheap car I wanted to restore the paint on.

I have seen good results to with a rattle can paint job but it just requires lots wet sanding. if your willing to put in work then go for it. but I would just get it done by a pro you will like the results alot more.

Just rattle can the hood and trunk back to black and call it good if the rest of the paint is in good condition. If you rattle can the whole car it will be a pain to take off the paint when you have enough for a real job. Unless you got a soda blaster

Ya but a little messier. Just gave an example not saying its the only thing, he can also use sandblaster, or sand the whole thing if he wants to.

The 50 dollar paint job is ****....I'm not saying this from an I've seen ot online...I'm saying this from an its on my car I loved it at first but 1 year down the road I regret it standpoint...I prepped everything...took of all seals lights bumpers fenders everything and then wetsanded and hit it with a cut and buff. It chips and scratches way to easy...its almost impossible to patch up spots and scratches...all around bad idea. Way too much work. Then if you decide to get a real shop to do it...it costs way more to get them to undo your mess IF they even agree to touch it. I will be repainting single stage white after taxes come back. I would get a maaco job before i ever did that again.
