When I first installed the lights they were working fine, but then I realized that they would dim at regular idle and sometimes they wont even turn on at all.. They are getting their power from the battery, does that mean that I need a new battery i checked to see if the alternator was going bad, but sofar it is working good.

Any advice on this?

 

If you didn't install it via the install guide, you will need a relay to switch on the fogs.

the main power source it connected to the battery then it runs to the relay that passwordjdm foglight set comes with. I can also hear the relay when I push the foglight switch.
