Icon2 Something Smoldering and radiator fan not working!!

Have no clue what it is but it smells like a bare wire is touching metal and smoking but cant see any smoke.

The rad fans are not working as I have just noticed, so I was thinking hey might be getting power to the motors but not spinning, hence the smell.?!

There are no other wires touching anything as I have examined the entire engine bay.
Any ideas on anything else I should look at?

Sounds bad - be sure to have a fire extinguisher handy! (Esp. one for use on electrical fires)

your heater core may be leaking into/onto some wiring in your dash .CAUTION,this may cause a fire in your dash. 3 winters ago i left my audi runnin while i ran in to my house real quick, came out to discover that this "burnt wire smell" i was smelling for a week became a fire! 4 times 911 was busy and my only audi was gone.(it was an audi 85,rip)
