i can just cap both of them? when i cap them my car wants to die... haha right now one is connected to the egr which is making it run crappy and one is capped when i take out the egr one it sounds like it runs better. cuz its sucking in air. is capping it with a vac line + screw fine then?

Im pretty sure i looped mine from one port to the other when i had a d15b which would be the same as capping each one and i had no problems. sorry im not more help thats been five years ago lol. Yes a bolt will work in line, or loop them or get the fancy vacuum caps at napa lol

yes it will cause it to run wrong if you ran it wrong you could even be getting power to vtec solenoid when you dont want to be. 2 wires run from solenoid to the ecu and one ground i cant remember pin placement in ecu but there is a thread on how to wire it on this site.

the "green cap thing" needs to be there! you can fix your VAC. problem by adding a vacuum block. the d15b I.M. is exactly the same as a d15b7 I.M. with only one vacuum nipple missing and a throttle body vacuum nipple missing,a vacuum block can fix this. i'm not sure about the similarity between the d15b7 I.M. and the d16y8 I.M. my d15b manifold doesn't have those, i have a white AMP sensor there. it's not a d15z1 is it???
