Default How do I identify my shift linkage?

How do I tell what kind of shift linkage I have? What are the differences between EG and EK?

thanks

Really doesn't make any difference, they're interchangeable. I honestly can't think of any differences at all between the two.

Nope, unless the OP really misworded his question, they both use a hydraulic clutch though.

I thought they were interchangable, but was trying to figure out how to tell the exact difference, so I can identify it properly and sell it. Honda has different part numbers for, if I remember correctly, the shifter rod.

I actually have two and I thought I had purchased one that was from an EG at one point and another supposedly from an EK, but they're the same linkages.

The only oddball is the Del Sol, since it has a funny bend because of the tunnel and shifter being up higher. But yeah, Civics from 88-00 will all use the same
