I know, but you could make a cut out and shave the other side. It owuld look good and be original.

I had the same prob. Just needed to bend the exhaust hanger a little. It was just enough to fix the prob.

When I bought the car, it had dual exhaust on it (Dual 4" tips, loud as a **** and nasty sounding). I took it off. You can hacksaw it off, or burn it. Just be careful either way. You can also cut it out to match the tip of the canister you have. Put the muffler up to it and draw an outline of the tip, then carefully cut it off and have the muffler welded up so it sits right in the groove. It looks awesome if you do it right.

As far as fitment over there, it's a little tough. I had to work w/ my muffler guy for about an hour to get it right. He had to cut it off above the axle, and weld in a piece about 4" long, bent almost like a S so that it would come down, and so the muffler wasn't pointing at the ground.

Good luck. This is what mine looks like now:

It's slanted out toward the driver side. I don't really like it, but hey; we can't all have our cake and eat it too.

Thanks. It's still a work in progress, but she's coming along nicely. The wheels are Motegi MR8's w/ Kumho Supra 712's (215/40/16's).
