any turbo daily integras out there
theres gotta be someone out there with a good reliable setup thats amazing for dailying...
I have an ls/vtec motor fully built with low compression.(motor)
I also have a ramhorn mani and .60 trim garett turbo jdm sport ic piping 450cc blue tops(boost setup)
but this spring im thinking about selling one of my integras and paint the other one, putting a nice exhaust system on it, and then use it as a super clean turbo daily

so pretty much i should be good with around 350whp all day in the fully built ls/vtec not that i need that much power but lets face it my motor is made for it, And them cocky people with there "Factory Sports Cars" built in the US hahah
and the second part of this question would be, What turbo would allow for over 300 hp, but still be mainly trq. and good for a 9:1 compression motor. Just trying to evaluate my setup for this spring.lol

A 57 trim t3/t4 should be more than enough for what you want while still allowing you to push it later. We all know that you will want to.
I daily my gsr @400 wheel. It's not really that bad to daily a honda with that much torque, it's actually relatively nice at freeway speeds to have the torque to pass and not worry about it. Boost by gear, lsd, and decent tires at that level are almost a requirement however. If I had 400 in every gear I think it would be kinda difficult.

And as far as the whole I would want more boost its true in a sense, but im more or less conservative due to having to suport this hobby myself (no rich parents here) and i would prefer to get my time and use out of it if uk what i mean. started with 5psi first setup bumped it up to 8psi on the second setup everything was grand. and now with a fully built low compression ls/v and a .60trim garrett still only at 6-8psi
I ran a jdm b20b tuned on 93 octane up to 10lbs on a .57 trim t3/t04e (drag 3 kit)
It ran great for over a year and a half daily driven and long road trips.. in my opinion it's all in the cooling system (good radiator, nice fan setup, and fuel management & tune)
Just be sure to keep up with routine maintenance.

Well first off I completly agree with you, but my car has been turboed for 2 years now with 3 different setups, im just havent found one that im 100% about, i had the ebay 50trim loved the response of it and was considering going back how do you feel about that?

Jimmy is completely right though, longevity relies on tune and cooling. If you have those squared away why not talk to the tuner and ask his/her opinions? They are going to be the ones in the nitty-gritty on your setup.
As to your other question I completely know what you mean. It took me a year to put together my setup and I completely understand about wanting to get the time and use out of it. Whether or not you pick a 50 or a 57 trim turbo is a mute point, pick a setup that fits your budget and gets you the goals you are looking for.
Boost is addicting, turbo hondas are fast. What more could you ask for? :D

In my opinion there are plenty of choices for the power goal you are looking at. If you already have a 50 trim then why not run with it. I was only speaking on behalf of my setup. Get a good tuning software/tuner and you can make a streetable setup at just about any power level if you wanted.

I had a a 50trim now its a 60trim garrett and its just a bit laggy for me i guess its just due to the fact i have always loved a trq>Hp car but have yet to have one. A buddy of mine had a eclipse turboed LS with gsr trans, it was super cheap setup and so much fun to drive!! and i guess i wanna setup something like it but that can produce boost all throughout the power band

I understand wanting something with some torque but trying to get a honda to be a torque monster is somewhat of an uphill battle. 400 ft/lbs @ 1k rpm just is not going to happen. With my setup at cruising speed in 5th I can roll into the throttle and have more than enough torque to do whatever I need.
[QUOTE=lsturbo33;44067455]13 psi for me. The 60 trim is a nice turbo for the gsr. You should keep it and turn the boost up since you already have it.[/QUOTE
i would but ive only got 450cc injectors

.5 trim is a very good choice for a daily IMO (Boosted daily driver B18C DA). fast spool coupled to a .63 housing is ideal for me. Very easy to make 300whp. Remember keep the cooling temp down and tuning is key here for reliablity.
ik its a great turbo! had a ebay .50trim with 5psi and E85 i made 250whp! but my question is should i rock the ebay turbo, there good until like high 3xx right im shooting for 350whp but i only hit full boost rarely!
