so, my del sol has been killing gas.
i replaced the fuel filter and have no clue on what to do next.
i put 20 on that car & it only gives me a little over half a tank. 20 usually gets me close to full x__x; so, i'm confused.
my oil has been leaking from the plug lately, though.
i'm gonna change my oil & change the plug in a bit.
any ideas?

 

$20 buys less gas than it did a few months ago.

 

hey michelle, maby the gauge is the problem, when i got my sol so long ago the gauges would stick do to the fact the previous owner put si indi glows on the cluster so it would say 3/4 when the fuel would spill out so i knew it was full so what i did was when i got the indi glows off i filled the car up and took the needle off and put it back on to say full, i know it sounds rice but it worked

How old are the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor? Is the ignition timing set to spec? Any CEL codes?

 

as far as i can remember Ron, she's replaced all of those and i don't think she's got any cel's, hmm...

 

The gas gauge does sound suspect.
