Default Gas Milage?

ok i have a 95 Del Sol Si D16Z6 Stock ish Auto trans. ok so i got the car and right off the bat i was getting 15MPG and NO smoke. (never has smoked) i did a CAI with New filter, cap, Rotor, wires, plugs, fuel filter, valve Lash, Timming, injectors were removed and cleaned, new O2 Sensor, i did the seafoam cleaning and all that and the best i'm getting is 21 MPG car has 150,000 miles on it. the only thing i'm thinking is the cat may be pluged or the tranny is screewed. i say tranny cuase when i cruse down the road say at 60 and back off the gas i read 2400 rpm if i press on the gas the rpm's go to like 2800-3100 to get any kind of pull from the car . i have never drove an auto befor so is this normal?

My last car was a 93 Del Sol 5 Speed and i got 35 MPG any ideas???

How's your fuel pressure?

EDIT:
Also try other injectors and see if the problem persists. If an injector gets stuck open it will cost your gas mileage (very hard, like so) and you won't notice a thing 'cept how bad your gas mileage sux. By far not the first time I've seen a jammed injector cause ~15mpg on a civic.

sounds like overdrive not engaging or tranny is screwed.ive got the same carand get 30 mpg average.will cruise at 80 at 3300 rpm. not sure but i think 60 is around 2200. i got my tranny rebuilt by AAMCO,costly but i plan to drive it at least 10 more years so i got the lifetime warranty.if thats not a concern you could probably get one from a junkyard cheaper,we have a few here in florida that do installs with 90 day warrantees.

It's peachy that the flowrate is good, that just means they aren't clogged.

Doesn't mean they aren't jammed open though.

Does it test against that? If it's jammed open you'll just be dumping fuel in there, car won't feel any different, won't smell any different, etc. etc. - only thing you'll notice is you'll be getting 15mpg. The only reason I'm stretching it so much is b/c I've seen it happen a handful of times on civics and it drops you down to 10-15mpg if the injector keeps hanging up.

ok the tester does this

1 leak test prime injectors to 45 PSI and hold for ten sec.

2 injector Ohm test

3 spray pattern test

4 then flow test

the results should be 11.5 Ohms 45 Deg. spray and 60 Scale (fluid level on the tester) after 30 Sec of pulsing.

all 4 tested fine right in spec. so i'm not thinking it's injectors.
