97 Civic DX hatch - climate control lights don't work

Default 97 Civic DX hatch - climate control lights don't work

so my climate controls do not light up anymore when you turn the lights on, am wondering what it takes to swap out the dash console for one from a 99-00 where the controls are on the side? bare with me iam new to the whole honda thing, i always had american turbo diesel trucks thanks in advance

If your cluster lights work, then your whole problem may be a few blown bulbs. If so, they're not very hard to replace.

its not my cluster lights, it is the lumination of the climate controls.

Have you checked whether the bulbs are blown?

im new to the whole honda thing and i was just looking at this/ and my haynes book and there isnt anything about being able to change out bulbs in the climate control display.

Once the center panel is out, it will be obvious where each climate control bulb is located. Then you just pull the bulbs out and replace if blown.

Yeah....for the 99 00 swap its a huge hassle finding the parts...and replacing a lot of components...if youre thinking about getting amber lights now would be the time to do it...good luck

I have a 96 civic lx. Just changed out bulbs but the still don't work...any other ideas? Maybe a fuse? All the other lights work btw
