Default ECU Questions

Ok I've been lookin for almost 3 hrs now and can't find what i'm lookin for! So here goes, I'm doin a G22 conversion and was wanting to know if I need to change my ecu n use a h22 ecu or can I run w/ my f22b1 ecu. I kno my f22 ecu uses the obd I ecu but I've been told by several ppl I know that I can use this ecu w/ the h22 head. All I have to do is change out a couple of plugs on the harness. It just don't seem rite to me.... So any input would be helpful!

The F22B1 VTEC engagement points would be completely useless with an H22 head. If you are going through the trouble of doing a G22 you might as well use the ECU that will net you the most bang for your buck. That would be the 93-95 OBD1 P13, or even better yet, would be a chipped and tuned (Civic/Integra) OBD1 ECU.

First I'm not an expert on swaps. Don't take any of this wrong and I'm not trying to start any long debate, but..
I will say that from what I've seen and read from Ghost when it comes to ECU's.....do you really need any additional input. If I ever do need help on what the correct/best ECU to use is I would take any and all advise Ghost gave me.
Anyway, if others chime in then good. If not I'm sure there are some other posts that can be found on this forum with a little searching.

....and yes, I have the flame suit on so go ahead folks.

He's not hearing what he wants to hear, that's why. You can't go wrong with Ghost's advice and the same applies here. You can try posting in the prelude subforum, but all that's gonna happen is you're gonna have more people saying to get a p13 ecu.

It has nothing to do w/ what I wanna hear, cuz I don't know what I want to hear. I don't kno ppls reps and what they do kno, so ya can't knock me for that! I'm just one of those ppl that likes to ask alot of questions and get as much info as I possibly can before I start a project. I just don't have lots of cash and like to get stuff done right the first time. So I hope no one takes any offense.
