Default 93 Del Sol Si - Any good aftermarket washers for transmission drain and fill bolts?

I am about to tackle the transmission oil change in my del sol.
Parts-wise, I didn't order Honda washers for the drain and fill bolts.
What are suitable replacements from an autozone or o'reilly's?
Can I use brass washers? Can there be variance in the size?

Thanks for the help.

just as long as theyre the right size crush washers youll be fine... **** ive gotten away with using only hondabond.. lol but with that you gotta wait for it to dry before filling it up.. but as long as the inner diameter of the crush washer matches youll be fine.. but make sure next time just get em at honda.. theyre like .10 cents each lol

Not saying the washers shouldn't be changed out. However, I changed my Tranny fluid out in my Tranny every other oil change or 6000 miles and I have never changed the crush washer or used Honda bond and mine never leaked a drop. But like last guy said is fine. Just giving my .02 cents opinion.

the purpose of the crush washer is that it deforms to make a seal. Reusing them works, lots of people do it without an issue. Torque them with a torque wrench the first time to see about what it should be, then you can do it by hand after. They don't take much.

I have only replaced mine once, and i have had my car for 3 years. No leaks ever.

But they only cost like 30 or 60 cents, so what the hell, it wont hurt anything to replace, but certainly is not required.

I wouldnt worry about, however, if you live somewhat close to a dealer, just pop in and grab one.

Cool. I decided to wait until Monday to head over to the service depo at Basney Honda to get the authentic ones. I'm gonna pick up some MTF and return my 10w30, but I'm not trying to revive that argument.
