i have 96 del sol with a gsr turbo...recently i have noticed my vacuum went from 21 to 12 and i cant get the car to idle..i have no check engine lights...wondering maybe could be a vacuum leak? other than idle it drives around pretty normal jus a richer air fuel reading...

 

sounds like vac. leak.... try getting some carb cleaner spray around all your connections to the intake maifold (injector bosses, TB, IAC, hoses, manifold to head,) if you spray and the engine changes tone everytime you spray you found a leak. also check the hose to the FPR since you mentioned its richer then normal

 

I am leaning towards a vac leak. Is it a high rpm, low rpm deal?

 

Maybe you got the choke on? jk Yea sounds like a vacuum leak. Like Hondaruss said check with spraying starting fluid/ carb cleaner.

 

thanks guys...that carb cleaner worked...i have a hondata IM gasket...was leaking from there..i guess i need longer studs after putting that hondata gasket on because some of the bolts fell off...
