Opinions please on EM1/EJ6/EJ8
Basically I want to know the difference in performance really within all 3. I used to own an EJ6 before I sold up to study.
Is the SR engine much more "powerful" compared to the LS and do you even feel a kick on Vtec ??
Or am I better just on saving a bit more for insurance on the EM1.
Reason the SR has came into mind is just the rarity factor and to be different.
Thanks in advance

wtf? sr? couple of them will pull a premium a week before race wars...
em1 are sI's...it's fun to drive, short gear, high rev's...but it's not fast. well at least mine isn't.
edit:
ej6=d16y7 (slow)
ej8=d16y8 (vtec, still slow)
em1=b16a2(dohc vtec, slow, but not as the one's above)

Pretty sure when he says "SR" he means "SI".
They're all gay, so take your pick.
And lastly whats the point of referring to the car by it's chassis code? Yet another retarded honda-tech movement. Is it that hard to say "DX", "EX" or "Si"? Or simply call it a 9_ Civic __?

well the UK gets different cars then we do in the states. I mean you have like a 1.5l version of those cars (I believe), but you also have access to SIR's which are somewhat "slow" in the grand scheme of fast cars. You also have the type R which is the greatest creation to man kind. You also can't forget the civic jordan which is just an SIR but I mean come on it's yellow, has a sun roof, and awesome OEM wheels. Assuming you are talking about just civics in the UK, since I don't know how it works exactly over there, I would go with a type R or an SIR. (someone please correct me if I've been misinformed

The SIR as far as I know is the SI equivalent from Japan & Canada dm.
Anything that is DOHC is known as VTI over here.
