Idle Problem!
Hi everyone,
Had a search couldn't find anything specific to my problem, I recently had to replace some of the hoses on my engine so while the coolant was out I removed the IACV to clean it out. Followed the guide on here exactly except I used intake and carb cleaner instead of brake cleaner, and let it dry out for 2 days indoors, then reset the ecu.
Now the car hunts around 1200-1500, whereas before it was fine most of the time just idled a bit high on occasion so I'm stumped why a cleaner IACV is causing more problems, I guess if it aint broke don't fix it
Also might be worth mentioning that my throttle cable is a little loose but this should make the idle lower if anything!
Heres a pic of the IACV after I cleaned it if it helps:

The car is a 96 spec JDM DC2 Type R
Thanks in advance,
Hitmo
