Default P06 or P28 chiped with chrome

Well ok heres the thing i am super buget building my 93 accord i have built a G22 Non vtec and i got it running today for the first time in two years on a P06 and it runs like complete *** when it first starts up it runs normal but 10sec after its running it starts pop in and crackin and i have to feather the gas to keep it running at this same time the CEL is flickering on and off but when i rev to about 3K rpm it goes out and runs ok for a few seconds and then it starts popin again i think the poping is it leaning out. I know i'm suposed to be running a P14 but i accedently sold that with my old prelude But i do have a P28 Chiped with chrome and the tune on it is B16 Vtec from my old civic would this run it better than the P06 and make it run not like *** Need help with this Thanks in advance

Get a basemap for your setup, since you already have a chipped ecu.

A p06 and p28 are the exact same ecu besides the vtec output components.
If your MIL is flashing randomly with your p06 ecu, it sounds like the ecu or vehicle has electrical issues.

You can try having the p28 chipped & tuned for the engine you have if the p06 ecu you have is in fact faulty.
