Icon2 BBK performance IM or Victor X

Hey fellas I am looking for a little insight on these 2 products. I have seen numerous cars running the Victor X and making good numbers for higher boost setups and high revving motors. I have also been told about BBK performance who makes a IM and portmatched TB. They both look like nice products but I am looking for experience with it. I know the victor makes power 7-10k, but I wont be turning much past 9k with my setup so picking up midrange is a thought in my mind. Any opinions or experience?

They look almost identical in dimensions and how their built.

Thanks for the input

EDIT: I guess i should post my future goals. 500whp on pump gas and 600whp on c16 or 110 on a sc6262 turbo .82AR or a Garrett GT35R. Undecided yet. It will be a Benson sleeved 84mm GSR block fully built top to bottom.

I know MarineSol was running it on his setup and was making 600+whp with it. I just want to see if anyone has comparisons or tuning/dyno experience on the 2.

does not need one...just adjust the idle by the set screw for the rotor.

I tried that... I piddled around with it for 4 months and the lowest I got my car to idle was around 1.2k, on a good day.

Very possible that I did, but after using 2 cans of carb cleaner spraying all of the fittings and lines, I did not see any evidence that I did indeed have a vacuum leak.

i am running a 70mm RPM services throttle body...

635whp at 8500 rpms... the car started to lean out... if you keep like line straight on my dyno graph... it would have been in the 670whp range (theoretically) but at that point who cares...

however, this was with a FULL 3" exhaust vibrant resonator and borla mufflers

Do you know the bore of the Victor X on the TB opening?

What injectors are you running? I plan on running 1200cc or 1400cc precisions or RC's. Im assuming there is still a performance loss with the exhaust on so 700whp open downpipe is feasable. Did you PNP your head? I'm going to run stock port for now and maybe later on have one ported out and see what happens.

Dont quote me on this but I believe the VictorX is 68mm the bbk is actually 70mm inlet but from just looking at it the victorx looks like the plenum is larger than the bbk but idk

I am using 1000ID's at 90psi base pressure (fuel lab regular) with the walbro intank and bosch 044.... i dont know why it ran out of fuel... i had to get off the dyno do to time restraints... turning up the base pressure probably would have helped...

im pretty much done with the car... 435whp at 13psi keeps me happy and reliable....

Thats the same thing I was looking at...the plenum. The victor does look slightly larger, and its round. The BBK is more square. The runners look like the same length for the most part, but the victor looks like it has a slightly larger diameter. I have looked and looked but have not found the volume/capacity of each one with a break down specifically in each area.
I know the 2mm on the TB wont make a noticable difference in this situation. I guess ill just do some reading here and there and everywhere and see what people have come up with. Hands down the VictorX has proven itself

Thats the thing, I can get the BBK for $275 pretty much anywhere, and their TB for $250 but with not TPS. All the places selling their products have the same price. I have found the VictorX for as low at $240 all the way up to $400. With a Blox TB for $250 w/ the sensor is cheaper. I plan on going 68mm and running 2.5" charge piping. I dont see the need for 3"....unless someone can convince me differently.
