Mileage on civcs?
I have a 98 civic lx with 371K on it, wondering what everyone else has on there civics?? Wondering if I should bother doing the timing belt again on it or not, should have been done at 300K but I didn't bother figuring the thing would go before the belt would pop. ANyone have high miealge on theirs??
I've put a power steering pump on it, drivers door regualtor, two 02 sensors, pass side lock actuators plus both rear doors other than that just brakes, tbelts, tires, plugs, filters etc... Has been the best car I've owned

If you plan on doing a swap in the future or want a new engine then i would just run it to the ground. If you just want it to keep running then i suggest you do a timing belt and water pump, and a valve adjustment would be easy to do at the same time
I dont have any hondas over 200,000 or so but if you want your car to run, dont let that belt break.

Unless I've got some financial crisis in the future I don't see myself getting rid of my civic. One day it will become a weekend car when I can afford a daily driver. But I've got 160,000 on the original motor at the moment. And in the next few years I'll be saving up for my swap. Starting autocross in the spring, I think. Suspension will be on the way come the new year
