Using the hatch door mount, points the seatbelt lower, good for shorties like me.

What part# is this from the hatch, for the mount? Any reason not to do this?

I'd like to get one of those too. I'm average height 5'10" but the seatbelt rides right near my neck, a little too high for my (and my wife's) comfort.

Does the existing CRX Seatbelt just 'slip through' an opening in the ring somewhere or do you need the whole seat belt mechanism (roller/lockers/buckle/etc)?
hmm honda has it there for a reason. may u can look into other options, like raising the seat up? but im 6'1" and it still rides my neck when i sit the seat all the way up. so i just recline it back a lil bit and it fixes the prob

Oddly, sitting fully UP, like I normally do, put's it on a good spot for me. I'm 5'7''. I actually wish the CRX (si) seats would sit MORE upright... I am looking at aftermarket seats, which put the seat up higher, which is a problem for taller people, but not me.

I highly reccomend these prelude seats for any CRX- I think theyre 4th gen lude, the preludes with the wide, wrap-around dash and the 1/4 moon taillights, like mid nineties.
