92 vx failed bar/ref: Wiring to sensors?
So much fail in that thread. While there is no "plug in" portion of the test for OBD1 vehicles it is possible that that portion of the test is required for a swapped engine,to ensure that the emission controls are functioning properly. I have to look into that a little more.. Some one said that they could tell by your CO2 that your engine is healthy. He is a turd. CO2 is a by product of combustion and indicates the overall state of the combustion process, not necessarily the state of your engine. Generally around 14.5% or higher is a good CO2 reading. Your CO2 is at 11% which is very poor and indicates a bad AF mixture. Your numbers indicate you are running very rich. From the high CO numbers id say there is a tunning or mechanical issue rather than a leak, which would dramatically raise your HC's. Though it is possible you have a small fuel leak. You need to ask the ref WHY he failed. Ask him to explain the reasons for the visual failure. Finally, it is highly unlikely that a stuck open thermostat is causing your number to go that high. While a stuck open thermostat can cause the car to run rich due to the quenching effect of the fuel it wont cause the numbers to be that high, unless you have larger injectors.

I'm not passing with the tune program so I think I'm going to stock gsr basemap. I don't know if the a/f is any good or worse. As far as him failing me on visual, the gsr basemap should fix that since the ecu "functions how it should". Can the tuner tune a/f between 2k-4k rpms where on a stock gsr basemap to pass smog?
BTW: failed again. Update on link.
