im not sure if i have rust on my car... just a precautionary.. how bad is it... if i do have some how much do you think it would cost to remove? sorry not too familiar with body work type stuff! any info would be greatly appreciated! thanks

 

you have a 2001 and it might have rust?

but yours is a 01, so if there´s rust it means that u have NEVER ever washed or waxed it, got some huge rock chips on it, and drive by the sea in crazy weather very day

Rust is my mortal enemy. I do my best to get rid of it as soon as I find it.

Don't want my ITR to look like those Hyundai Pony's I see driving around.

 

My CRX has rust on the rear fender lips, esp. on the passenger side.

sorry if i was sounding like a newbie... the reason i ask is cuz i had a bad accident to my right side which hasnt been fixed yet.. it has been garaged for a while under covers.. and although my fender and door are getting replaced i was wondering JUST in CASE if i had rust how bad is it???? i dont think i ever said i had rust... not to get mad.. i was just curious thats all.. thanks

 

for those of you wondering how bad my damage is... i have frame damage... and since i was hit by a drunk driver and the person who had hit me had no insurance.. i am waiting for court to settle so i can recieve money to fix my car... it has been close to 5 months since... and honestly not to sound like a *****! but i come on to h-t everyday... and although i may not post everyday or often... but i always admired you guys... and now.. you guys truely make me sick with all the comments you guys have given me! 1998....rust on the brake rotors only

 

When I had my 97 ITR I got little spots of rust in the winter which may have been caused by road salt, although the rust spots were easily removed by waxing the car. I have seen this on other white cars as well up here in the Northlands.

The R was a blast in the snow!
