Default CNC 402 staging brake on a street car?

Well, I have seen a few decent deals on the 402 (with reservoir, NOT the inline set up), used and new. But I dont think there is any way to use this brake, and keep rear brakes at the pedal as well. Right?

Im going to be putting a staging brake on my street car. Has anybody else used the reservoir styles on their street cars? Its not like I daily the car. But at the same time, I dont want an unsafe car for driving around.

Should I just pass up these deals, and stick with searching for a 412, or buying a new 412?

Yea I know, but Ive got a lot on my list for this winter. So anything I can save will help.

But at the same time, if it jeopardizes my safety, Im not trying to skimp there. But Ive never not had rear brakes, so I cant go off of experience.

Or maybe there is a way to keep the rears hooked up to the pedal AND 402?

Plus, I see a lot of people using a 402. So Im kinda wondering what the advantage is, if there is one?

Good luck with this one. I did it and they are bad about leaking sent 2 back to get one good one. they also do not hold very good so i took they off and just use the e brake now.

Well this is not good news. I might test it on another car and see how it does.
