i have a 5 spd 94 gsr, and when i'm accelerating in any gear, my car basically slips in and out of gear whenever i step on the gas...... and if i try and acclerate too fast, even at low rpm's (2500) the car slips out of gear and usually will hit redline before the gear catches again as the revs come back down...... it's becoming unsafe to drive, and i've heard it could either be the differential or the clutch. the guy that had my car before me said he dropped a stage 2 clutch in, but i'm starting to wonder if he really did..... is it possible for this to be just a problem with the release bearing or the pressure plate on the clutch assembly, or would i have to replace the whole thing????

 

You need a new clutch. It is slipping.
