I am about to start up my new build however this is the first time I have done a swap into a non vtec chasis. I have installed a built LS vtec in my 96 EK hatch. I dont see that my wire harness has a vtec solinoid oil pressure switch plug. is it required to use the oil pressure switch on the v tec solinoid or not. If not I will just run the one wire for v tec from the ecu if it is required I will need to find the 2 wire plug for it.

 

you're in the wrong section....

one is for the vtec wire to turn on, other is for the ground (any spot). You will have to wire it.
