Default Battery in front bumper; cutoff switch needed?

I don't want to relocate my battery to the trunk and don't have room for it in the stock location. For those of you mounting your batteries to the side of the rad support in the front bumper, are you required to use a cutoff switch? TIA

yes you still need it i recommend the t1 kit that way you dont have to run big wire all the way to the back of the car.
