Just realized that my tires look like slicks so I guess it's about that time..
The wheels are 09 Honda Fit wheels.. The stock tires are 185/55-16 but I wanted to get something with a lower profile but I haven't found any 185/45-16s or anything like that.. I don't know a whole lot about different tire sizes because I never got into the whole wheel scene but I know that I don't have to stick with the 55..
Also because I'm lowered and my tires rub when I'm turning so I figured a smaller sidewalk would help..
Any tips with that?

The correct tire size depends on the car these wheels will be used on, so post that information up, including sub-model.
Tire sizing is described in the FAQ.

Yes it did.
In summary, TunerN00b said that the car dictates the tire size, not the wheels.
Try looking on www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp to figure out a size.

Maybe I didnt describe what im trying to do properly..
The wheel is a 2009 Honda Fit Sport wheel.. The car is a 2008 Honda Fit Sport.
The tires that are from the factory are 185/55-16.. Do I have to replace it with the same exact tire size or can I put a different size so I can get a lower profile? Maybe a 195/50? or a 205/50?

Looking for a "lower profile" isn't exactly a goal you want to have.
The total diameter should stay the same, to preserve acceleration, speedometer, and odometer accuracy. You can certainly do this with a wider tire, which will mean using a tire with a lower aspect ratio, but the sidewall height will stay the same size.
205/45-16 or 215/45-16 are fine sizes, assuming that the wheel is wide enough to accommodate them. 205/45-16 needs a 6.5" wide wheel, 215/45-16 needs a 7". If your wheels are narrower than that, you can use a 195/50-16.
All of these tire sizes are very nearly the same diameter, so they will all have the same amount of sidewall. If you want less sidewall, you'll want to buy some 17s (or 18s, but I certainly wouldn't recommend doing so).
Oh, and a 205/50-16 would have a taller sidewall (larger total diameter) than the 185/55-16. Sounds like you still need to learn tire sizing...

I've already said that I don't know much about tire sizing..
All I know is that my the wheels on my car are one inch larger than the wheels that come from the factory, and my car is lowered so I rub a little and I figured that a smaller diameter tire would reduce the rubbing.. Sorry for not being a guru in everything that is automotive..

The wheels that come with the 08 fit are 15s.. The 09 wheels are 16s.. They both come with 55s... So that means the overall outside diameter is bigger than stock... So in order for the car to be close to stock as far as acceleration and speedo and all that crap I would need a smaller tire.. Or am I completely wrong? Because I thought I had SOME understanding on how tire sizing works..

The aspect ratio does not describe the sidewall height by itself. You need both the section width and the aspect ratio to know the sidewall height and to know the total diameter.
Original tire sizes for an 08 Fit are 175/65-14, 195/55-15, or 205/45-16.
185/55-16 is slightly larger in diameter, but not enough to really worry about (24" vs. 23.5"). A tire changes nearly 3/4" in diameter as it wears from new to minimum tread depth.
175/65-14 22.96"
195/55-15 23.44"
205/45-16 23.26"
185/55-16 24.01"
So the 185/55-16 may as much as an inch (4.6 percent) larger than stock. That's enough to cause the rubbing. I recommend getting 205/45-16, or even 195/45-16 (22.91").
Oh, and a tire usually changes about 1/2" in diameter as it wears from new (10/32" for many summer tires) to minimum tread depth (2/32").
