88 Hatch Antenna Replacement *help*
Just wondering how to replace an antenna. Do you take it out wire & all down to the stereo? Or can you cut & splice the wire w/ a wire crimp & heat shrink?

Easiest way is if you have the exact replacement,
Is to tie a string to the old one before you pull it out..
Once you remove the old one,Tie the new coax to the end
of the string and pull it back through..

Good advice. Or straighten out a metal coat hanger and tape the end of the cable to that and push it . The hardest part is pulling it out through the baby hole at the bottom of the pillar. OEM antennas are pretty cheap too I believe.
Don't splice an antenna. no bueno.
