Default Electrical Problem - Blowing cabin fuse

So, I have an electrical problem in my 1995 GSR. When I go around a turn really hard, it blows the cabin lights, door chimes, key chimes fuse. If you turn on the overhead or map lights with the fuse blown, it turns on the door open light on the dash. Also, the door open light faintly stays on the whole time. If you go around a turn hard, the door open light comes on and the windsheild wipers cut out.

I have relaced the two door open sonsors in the door jam, have looked around for loose wires and can not find anything. I also took the overhead light out and the map lights out to inspect the connections. I think it has to be a loose wire somewhere, but just can not find it.

Anyone experience this problem? I'm at witts end on this problem....

You have a "short", [a loose wire will not blow a fuse unless it shorts to ground].

You will need to unplug wiring, from the fuse box, to find out what load, [dome light, map lights, trunk/hatch light, glove box light, the leads are white/red, there are two white/red leads off of fuse 3 - [7.5A hot at all times] one powers the trunk/hatch light the other powers the dome and map lights.

You will need to de-pin the white/red lead as close to the fuse box as possible, [one at a time] to find which one is the one with the short. 94

I bet it's my trunk/hatch light. I've had problems with it before!
Thanks for your ideas. I've also been having trouble with my rear trunk latch. I'll be taking a look at both of those this weekend.

The short will not be at the latch, the latch switch only supplies a ground to the trunk/hatch light and the trunk/hatch open indicator in the cluster.

If it is a problem with the trunk/hatch light circuit it will be with the pos.(+) lead, [white/red], de-pin that lead at the rear harness connector, if fuse no longer blows you have found the bad circuit. 94
