hi my car a couple of days ago light of the trunk open came on and a said ok wth i can live with that but 2 days later the door open came on ,now both are on grrrrr!its there a fuse or something that could be causing this?or is just one of the switches has gone bad?

 

i dont think it would be a fuse problem but maybe more like some loose wires maybe touching ground and cause the light to go on

 

Is it just the door and trunk/hatch open warning lights that are on, or are the dome and trunk/hatch lights also staying on?

As mentioned it will not be a fuse, the lights and the warning lights are controlled by grounds being supplied by door and trunk/hatch switches.

With that said, I would still check every fuse, it may be a totaly unrelated fuse, do not just eyeball the fuses, use a 12V test light on both test tips.

If the fuses are all good, unplug the switches, if lights still stay on, you have wires grounding to chassis or a ground lead. 94
